An eighteen-month collaboration spanning brand identity, digital experience, and ongoing communication for Eywa Sport & Spa. I led the project from strategy through day-to-day execution, developing a consistent presence across its website, printed materials, campaigns, and customer communications.

Scope
About the project
Eywa Sport & Spa is a wellness centre in Portogruaro, Italy, bringing together fitness, spa experiences, beauty treatments, and classes. Its communication did not fully reflect the breadth of its services or the quality of the experience.
I originally designed Eywa’s logo when the centre opened in 2020. Returning years later, I took on a much broader challenge: building a complete identity around the brand and carrying it through the business’s digital and physical presence.

Research & direction
I analysed the local market, audience data, existing communication, and customer feedback to identify what made Eywa distinctive and where its presentation fell short.
Customer surveys highlighted the value of personal attention, knowledgeable staff, and well-kept spaces. They also revealed a need for clearer information about services and pricing.
These findings informed a direction centred on integrated wellness, human relationships, and the natural setting. The goal was to communicate the quality of the experience while helping people understand how its different services could fit their needs.
Building a visual system
Eywa had a recognisable logo, but lacked a consistent system for applying it. I refined its visual language and established guidelines for colour, typography, imagery, and layout.
The palette gave colour a practical role: a deeper green for fitness and classes, teal for general brand communication, and terracotta for Beauty and Spa. Tonal variations allowed the system to adapt across applications while keeping each area recognisable.
Work Sans headings and Nunito Sans body text established a shared typographic hierarchy. Photography, rounded image frames, and graphic accents brought the identity into brochures, social content, newsletters, promotional materials, and branded displays.
Extending the brand
The opening of a second location in summer 2026 introduced a new requirement: extending Eywa into a setting focused on training and sport.
I developed Eywa Sport as an extension of the existing brand, retaining the Eywa wordmark and adapting the descriptor and composition. The green already associated with fitness provided continuity between the original centre and the new location.
The collaboration also included work on the Eywa Cosmetics project, adding a further dimension to the brand’s development.
Website & physical touchpoints
I redesigned and developed the website, reworking its structure, content, and interface to present Eywa’s services within a coherent digital experience.
Alongside the website, I redesigned brochures, gift vouchers, promotional materials, and event displays. Applying the same system across these formats connected what people encountered online with the materials they saw in the centre and at events.
Content, campaigns & customer relationships
I developed and managed the communication strategy across social media, paid campaigns, email marketing, and offline promotion. Editorial planning combined service explanations, staff stories, educational content, and seasonal initiatives.
I organised shoots and coordinated the production of photography and video for use across channels. Newsletter campaigns, automated email journeys, and a WhatsApp community added new ways to maintain contact with customers beyond their visits.
The work also extended to supporting events and classes: helping organise activities, coordinate staff, collaborators, and guests, and prepare the communication and promotional materials around them.
My role & collaboration
I was the main point of contact for the project and personally handled most of the strategy, design, and ongoing communication work.
External collaborators primarily supported photography and video shoots, with post-production shared depending on the assignment. I also edited selected videos myself and delegated occasional graphic production tasks, while retaining responsibility for the overall direction and consistency.
Beyond public-facing communication, I developed shared documents, service information, planning tools, and practical guidance to support the reception team and daily operations.
Reviewing & refining
Periodic reports, customer surveys, and feedback from the team informed adjustments to content, promotions, and priorities throughout the collaboration.
The analysis also helped distinguish visibility from business outcomes. Social and advertising reports documented reach, views, and clicks, while reception records highlighted the need for more complete tracking between enquiries and bookings.
Selected results
The project also established lasting tools for the business: brand guidelines, an identity extension, a redesigned website, coordinated print materials, communication channels, and internal documentation.
